DESCRIPTION:The Chamber of Manitowoc County in partnership with Lakeland University\, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay\, Manitowoc Campus and Lakeshore College are pleased to offer ADVANCED LEADERSHIP: Educate. Empower. Elevate.  This program has been developed for the mid to senior-level managers\, nonprofit administrators\, and entrepreneurs seeking advanced leadership and communications skills to move their careers and organizations forward.  Each session will be taught by instructors from the partner colleges.\n\n\n\nCourse Description:\n\nJoin us for a dynamic session focused on how leaders can leverage data to drive organizational success. This workshop will explore the balance between human judgment and data insights\, equipping leaders with tools to measure performance\, make informed decisions\, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\n\n\n\nLearning Outcomes:\n\n	Understand the link between organizational performance and effective leadership.\n	Identify key performance indicators and their role in strategic decision-making.\n	Explore how data-driven leadership enhances clarity\, accountability\, and outcomes.\n	Learn strategies to integrate data insights into daily leadership practices.\n\n\n\nMeet the Instructor:\n\nJon Swanson currently serves as the Director of Finance at Lakeshore Community Foundation\, Inc. and as an adjunct instructor at Lakeshore College. Prior to these roles\, he spent more than a decade in public accounting\, working extensively with nonprofit organizations. With a strong foundation in accounting and financial oversight\, Jon brings strategic insight\, sound governance\, and an unwavering commitment to fiscal responsibility.\n\n\n\nA graduate of Central Washington University\, Jon holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration\, with a specialization in Finance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant\, having built his career on a blend of technical expertise\, collaborative leadership\, and meaningful professional relationships.\n\n\n\nIdentified as a "Learner" through the CliftonStrengths assessment\, Jon is guided by a passion for continuous growth and development both personally and in those he leads. His leadership style emphasizes curiosity\, mentorship\, and empowerment\, creating environments where teams can thrive and innovate. Jon's combination of analytical rigor\, strategic perspective\, and service-oriented mindset makes him a trusted and respected partner in advancing organizational success and community impact.
