SUMMARY:AI Roundtable for Mid to Large Companies
DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by: Todd Nilson\, Central US Ambassador for Mighty Humans\, a volunteer movement helping communities build practical AI skills\, and founder of Clocktower Advisors\n\n\n\nYou're already sitting on AI tools in your tech stack\, whether or not you've turned them all the way on\, and your people are already using AI at work\, whether or not you've approved it. Some employees are anxious about it\, some feel overwhelmed\, and some are quietly wondering if getting good at these tools means training their own replacement. On the customer side\, it's not just how you protect their data. It's whether you're being straight with them about how you use AI\, and getting value from it without eroding the trust you've built. Meanwhile\, most organizations still haven't decided who owns AI decisions\, what's allowed\, and what happens when it gets something wrong.\n\nThis isn't a training session or a vendor demo. It's a working morning for executives and senior leaders to compare notes with peers from local organizations and leave with a plan.\n\nWhat you'll do:\n\n\n	Surface the questions and concerns your peers are actually wrestling with\, and rank which matter most\n	Work through the top issues at three levels: the decisions leadership has to own\, the operating rules managers need\, and the day-to-day practices teams use\n	Test your own organization's readiness against a short set of governance questions most organizations can't answer yet\, from privacy and data handling to legal sign-off and who has authority to say yes\n\n\nWhat you'll leave with:\n\n\n	A read on what other local organizations are actually doing with AI\, not vendor claims or press coverage. Enough to know if you're behind before it costs you.\n	Ways to introduce or expand AI with employees without confirming the fear many of them already have\, that this is a step toward being replaced\n	Concrete next steps for your organization at each level\n	A written summary of the session\, and the option to join an ongoing peer group\n\n\nWho should attend: owners\, executives and senior leaders responsible for strategy\, operations\, HR\, IT or risk at mid-size and larger organizations. No technical background needed.\n\nFormat: a facilitated roundtable\, not another talking-head session. A brief framework sets up the questions\; most of the morning is peer discussion. The facilitator isn't the AI authority in the room. His job is making sure the conversation goes somewhere.\n\n\n\nWe encourage open and candid discussion. The session will follow the Chatham House Rule\, meaning participants may use information shared during the discussion but may not identify or attribute comments to individual speakers or their organizations.\n\nDisclaimers:\n\nCode of Conduct: The Chamber is committed to providing a welcoming\, professional\, and respectful environment for all participants. Harassment\, discrimination\, intimidation\, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. The Chamber reserves the right to remove any individual whose conduct is inconsistent with these expectations\, without refund.\n\n\n\nEvent Changes and Cancellation: The Chamber reserves the right to modify event speakers\, programming\, location\, schedule\, or format as necessary. If an event is canceled or postponed\, registered participants will be notified using the contact information provided during registration. Refunds\, credits\, or alternative arrangements will be determined based on the circumstances.\n\n\n\nRegistration Information and Privacy: Information collected during event registration will be used by the Chamber for event administration and organizational communications\, consistent with the Chamber's privacy practices. The Chamber may share registered attendees' names and business affiliations with event sponsors\, presenters\, and participating organizations for event-related purposes\, such as identifying expected attendees and facilitating networking. Personal email addresses\, phone numbers\, and other individual contact information will not be shared without the individual's consent.\n\n\n\nSpeaker and Educational Program Disclaimer: The views and opinions expressed by speakers\, presenters\, panelists\, or facilitators are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Chamber of Manitowoc County\, its Board of Directors\, staff\, or membership. Participation in or sponsorship of an event does not constitute an endorsement of any particular viewpoint\, product\, service\, or recommendation.\n\n\n\nNo Recording Policy: To support open and candid discussion\, photography\, video recording\, audio recording\, livestreaming\, and other forms of recording or reproduction are prohibited unless expressly authorized by the Chamber.
