DESCRIPTION:Join us for a discussion about the landscape of the term elections in Wisconsin and beyond. Presenters will discuss recent polls/forecasts\, campaign strategies and advertisements\, and political issues. They will also spend some time on the possible consequences of the elections in Wisconsin.\n\n\n\nAaron Weinschenk is the Ben J. and Joyce Rosenberg Professor of Political Science and the Chair of the Political Science program at UWGB. His research focuses on American Politics\, with an emphasis on elections\, campaigns\, and political participation. He teaches courses on the U.S. Congress\, public policy\, American government\, and urban politics. \n\n\n\nDavid Helpap is Associate Professor of Political Science and Chair of the Public Administration program at UWGB. His research focuses on the management practices of local governments\, with a particular emphasis on budgeting and the provision of public goods. He is also interested in rural politics and management\, public policy making at the state and local levels\, and intergovernmental relations. He teaches Introduction to Public Administration\, State and Local Government\, Public Policy Analysis\, and Regulatory Policy.\n\n\n\nBusiness Connects webinars provide a venue to inform and educate our community by hosting speakers on topics important to our members.
