DESCRIPTION:A Political and Legislative Update\n\nPresented by: Brad Boycks\n\nVice President of Advocacy\n\nWisconsin Builders Association\n\n\n\nBrad will be discussing the current political makeup of the legislature\, hit some highlighted points from the last session and talk about what is going on so far this session.\n\n\n\nBrad Boycks is the Vice President of Advocacy at the Wisconsin Builders Association. Brad manages all of WBA's public policy efforts\, including all aspects of legislative lobbying\, regulatory lobbying\, grassroots lobbying\, and strategic litigation. He regularly communicates with the WBA leaders and members to understand the needs of the industry and to provide members with the valuable tools and opportunities created by WBA's advocacy initiatives. He is also responsible for helping the association establish legislative priorities\, working with legislators and regulators to get those priorities addressed\, and interpreting new or proposed laws. Brad also manages WBA's involvement in elections to maximize the association's influence at the state level. In addition to his role as Vice President of Advocacy for WBA\, Brad Serves on the Executive Committee of Association of Wisconsin Lobbyists (AWL) and the Wisconsin Civil Justice Council (WCJC). \n\n\n\nBusiness Connects with Government Luncheons provide a venue to inform and educate our community by hosting speakers on topics important to our members.
