With nearly 50\,000 dairy cows\, our dairy farmers produce more milk per cow per year than any other county in the state. The economic impact of agriculture in general and the dairy industry in particular\, is felt throughout the county and beyond. Manitowoc County agriculture creates jobs and generates hundreds of millions of dollars of economic impact each year."
