Chandler was appointed as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue by Governor Scott Walker in January 2011. \n\n	His goals as Secretary are to\n\n	\n		Implement good tax policy\, with a particular emphasis on policies that will promote job growth\n\n\n	\n		Deliver good customer service to individuals and businesses\n\n\n	\n		Operate the department efficiently and effectively\n\n\n	\n		Maintain a positive work environment\n\n\n	Secretary Chandler has nearly two decades of experience in the executive and legislative branches of government. He previously served as the Wisconsin Department of Revenue's Secretary from 2001 to 2003\, and as Wisconsin's State Budget Director from 1987 to 2001.
