Really differently! Now\, she's finding the humor (and voice) in her challenges\, and learning to be heard above the noise. Join Liysa on her hilarious journey through a silent world   which sometimes is not so silent   as she uses stories\, improvisation\, audience participation\, and tips to help give you a fresh perspective on your obstacles. Liysa will teach you to use humor in life and in business\, help you embrace diversity to form stronger teams\, and teach you the art of communicating beyond words.\n\n \n\nLiysa Callsen has a Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal\, mainly because her grandmother wanted her to be a lawyer and this was a compromise. Discovering her passion for speaking and humor she began a new course. Yes\, it's never too late. After training with Second City Chicago in improv\, she started a local improv troupe\, and then The Bubbler Theatre. She is the owner and producer of Lakeshore's Top Comic. In November 2012 Liysa Callsen was invited to present her book Tell 'em the memoir of a girl whose first language was not the spoken word at the Wisconsin Book Festival. Now\, Liysa speaks to organizations all over the country. She is a member of AATH\, (say it aloud\, it's fun) Association for Applied Therapeutic Humor where she continues to learn more about the seriousness of humor.
