DESCRIPTION:As part of the Adopt-A-Park program\, the Friends of the Manitowoc River Watershed is passionate about finding ways to improve lower Schuette Park and make it more attractive and user-friendly. \n\n\n\nThe installation of a new ADA compliant kayak launch happened last fall with the help of funds received by a DNA River Planning Grant\, as well as the Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership Stewardship Fund and the City of Manitowoc. \n\n\n\nPlease join them in a celebration of their accomplishment on June 22 at 1pm\, where there will be a grand opening and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
