DESCRIPTION:The Rahr-West Art Museum is pleased to announce the re-opening of its updated Family Discovery Room. This activity room\, located on the museum's lower level provides visitors with hands-on immersion in the arts. Open during the museum's normal hours of operation\, the Family Discovery Room offers adults and children the opportunity to relax\, read\, play and learn at their convenience. The room includes stations for art creation\, science exploration\, group reading\, and games. "We're thrilled to be able to freshen up this space to create a more comfortable\, more accessible\, more fun experience\," says Rahr-West Art Museum director Greg Vadney. Funding for the room remodel was provided by the Service League of Manitowoc County and private donors.
