SUMMARY:Grand Re-Opening Ribbon Cutting - Rahr-West Art Museum
DESCRIPTION:The Rahr-West Art Museum is proud to reopen its newly renovated Vilas-Rahr Mansion Courtyard to the public. In late 2015\, the courtyard was re-graded\, newly landscaped\, and its cobblestone pathway re-laid. The courtyard provides an accessible\, beautiful outdoor environment to compliment the Rahr-West's nationally recognized art collection. This includes The Reader\, a bronze sculpture by renowned Italian artist Bruno Lucchesi that is on display in the courtyard. The Vilas-Rahr Mansion courtyard is now open to the public during the museum's regular hours of operation. It may also be rented with the adjacent Lounge Gallery for private receptions and events.
