SUMMARY:Lakeshore Balloon Glow
DESCRIPTION:The Lakeshore Balloon Glow is an event coordinated in partnership between The Chamber of Manitowoc County and the City of Manitowoc.  Funds raised at the event go towards downtown beautification projects. In 2022\, the Lakeshore Balloon Glow committee donated funds to help purchase new holiday decorations for the downtown area. \n\n\n\nSchedule of Events:\n\n\n\n5:00-6:00 PM | Story Time & Activities in Children's Area Presented by: Manitowoc Public Library\n\n6:00-7:00 PM | Webfooters Water Ski Show in Manitowoc River\n\n7:00-8:00 PM  |  Mischief & Magic Show\, in Children's Area\n\n7:45 (Dusk) | Balloons Illuminated/Inflated in Briess Parking Lot\n\n8:30 PM | Fireworks\n\n \n\nFood Trucks 5-9 PM\n\nBeer\, Soda & Water Available 5-9 PM\n\nBounce Houses & Obstacle Course 5-8:30 PM\n\nAdditional entertainment throughout event grounds includes: Music Provided by Advanced Entertainment DJ\, Aerial Dance Performances\, Star Wars Characters\, Balloon Inflatables\, Traveling Snake Guy\, and MORE!  \n\n\n\nAll entertainment and Children's Area activities are FREE. \n\n \n\n\nMap\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClick Here for a PDF version of the Map.\n\n \n\n\nVIP Seating at the Sub Pub - SOLD OUT\n\n\n\nReserve a VIP spot at the Sub Pub on the rooftop of the Wisconsin Maritime Museum! Enjoy a fabulous view with a cash bar for $10 per person!  Hurry though\, space is limited and tickets to this exclusive spot will sell out quickly!\n\n\n\nSeating is first-come first served\, and not guaranteed for all guests. Guests may bring their own lawn chairs.\n\n\n\nFood carry-ins from Food Truck vendors are allowed. \n\n \n\n\nVolunteers Needed\n\n\n\nWe are in need volunteers* to help make this HUGE event successful!  We are looking for volunteers  in a number of different capacities:  Servers\, Runners\, ID Scanners\, Balloon Security/Handling\, Event Setup/Cleanup\, etc.  All volunteers receive a free t-shirt\, and most shifts are either 5-7PM or 7-9PM. \nREGISTER ONLINE TO VOLUNTEER\n\nYou may register online at the link above\, and also see a more detailed listing of the volunteer opportunities. Service and parking will be available at the following locations:\n\n\n\nLincoln High School\n\nJFK Fieldhouse Parking Lot\n\nS. 9th St.\, Manitowoc\n\n\n\nRoncalli High School\n\n2000 Mirro Dr.\, Manitowoc\n\n\n\nFaith Church\n\n2201 S 42nd St\, Manitowoc\n\n\n\nTrolley/Shuttle service will begin at 4:45pm from each of the pickup/parking sites\, and will continuously loop throughout the night in about 30 minute segments. The last shuttle/trolleys will leave the event grounds at 9:00pm.
