DESCRIPTION:While the event is hosted by Young Professionals\, this will be a unique opportunity for professionals of any age who are looking to learn more about leadership\, and grow and expand their own leadership styles.\n\n\n\nThe Young Professionals of Manitowoc County will be hosting a Leap into Leadership CEO Panel on Thursday\, February 29\, 2024 from 7:30-9:00am\, at the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance\, Manitowoc. The goal of the event is to share insights and advice from local CEOs to up and coming Young Professionals\, and hopefully inspire the next generation of local leaders.\n\n \n\nThe panel will represent a cross section of industries and backgrounds. Panelists will share advice and insights\; share stories of both success and failures\; as well as impart crucial tips and tricks that helped propel them to their leadership roles.  \n\n\n\nPanelists Include:\n\n\n	Julie Grossman\, CEO\, Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA\n	Cathie Kocourek\, President\, Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County\n	Jamie Schramm\, Campus CEO\, UW-Green Bay Manitowoc & Sheboygan Campuses\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the CEO's:\n\n \n\n\n	\n		\n			Julie Grossman is a lakeshore area native who graduated from UW Madison and then moved to the west coast for 20 years\, returning in 2017 to become the CEO of the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA. She has been in the Y Movement since her first job as a Camp Counselor in the 1990s and finds tremendous satisfaction in leading an organization committed to improving the lives of all who live\, work\, and play in our community. She is a mother to two teenage girls and three rescue mutts\, loves to read\, ski\, hike\, and travel\, and has a passion for food and cooking.\n		\n		\n			\n\n			Cathie Kocourek is the President of the Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County.  The medical center is a 69-bed acute care hospital facility serving the residents of Manitowoc County.\n\n			Cathie holds a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from Carroll College and a Masters degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College.  She began her career at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital in 1975 working as a Medical Technologist in the clinical laboratory and was promoted to various positions there before joining the local medical center in 2010. She has over 40 years of experience in health care.  \n\n			Cathie is a lifelong resident of Manitowoc\, where she currently resides with her husband Gary.  They have 2 grown children and an English Cream golden retriever.\n\n			 \n		\n		\n			Jamie Schramm currently serves the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay as the Campus Executive Officer for their Sheboygan and Manitowoc locations.  He has lived along the Lakeshore his entire life\, being raised and educated in Sheboygan\, graduating from Lakeland University with his MBA in 2010.  Jamie's career has been full of diverse and fulfilling experiences at Kohler Company\, HUI\, Johnsonville\, Kohler Credit Union and UW-Green Bay.  He has extensive experience in leadership and organizational development\, process improvement and has served his alma mater as an adjunct instructor for the past 15 years.  Jamie is involved in collaborative community service efforts focused on STEM-education\, workforce development financial literacy and military/veterans affairs.  Jamie currently resides with his wife Tammy in the Town of Newton\, just south of Manitowoc.
