SUMMARY:Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer- 5K walk
DESCRIPTION:In our community\, we tackle cancer as a team. That is why Aurora Cancer Care and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation have teamed up to bring the best players together to tackle this disease. With you on the team\, you can show your support and celebrate hope for those touched by cancer in our community: neighbors\, coworkers\, family and friends. And to honor those we?ve lost. While there is no cost to join the walk ? all participants are encouraged to raise dollars to help advance cancer care in Manitowoc County. Join us and walk with survivors\, honor those in your life and raise funds to help more people in Manitowoc County to beat this disease. All dollars raised from this event stay in the community and are eligible to receive matching funds from the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. We are proud to have the Pink Heals Ambulance on site as well as Live Well Stations including a Live Strong tent\, and the Aurora Rehab program showcasing their contributions to cancer care. Kids bounce house and DJ will also be on site. Pledge sheets are located on the website. Participant t shirts are awarded to those who raise $50 or more. T shirt sizes are not guaranteed less than 30 days from the walk date. To ensure correct shirt size\, please register and pledge $50.00 by May 25th. Pre-registration is Friday evening 4-6:00 PM at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic. Same day registration begins at 8:00 AM at the Rotary Pavilion at Neshotah Park.
