DESCRIPTION:Manitowoc County will be celebrating Manufacturing Day on Friday\, October 6.\n\n\n\nWhy?\n\n\n\nBecause Manufacturing Rocks! This is the month when manufacturers around the county open their doors to show community members that manufacturing careers are alive and well. Here's your opportunity to tour some of Manitowoc County's manufacturing facilities to learn about the company itself and learn about potential jobs.\n\n\n\nAll tours will be 60 minutes in duration and be limited to 20 people per tour. The event is open to the public and will include special invitations to our local business leaders\, school administrators\, counselors\, teachers and students.\n\n\n\nParticipating manufacturing businesses are Tramontina\, Skana Aluminum\, Federal Mogul\, GKN Sinter Metals\, Formrite\, Heresite Protective Coatings and Burger Boat. Tour as many companies as you are able - must specify which ones when you register.\n\n\n\nFollowing are time slots for each tour and the type of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required. Safety glasses and ear plugs will be available at each facility.
