DESCRIPTION:Manitowoc County Partners in Education Committee Meeting Notice. \n\n This is the meeting we spoke about at our April Meeting.  We have had great response from the schools and your input will be beneficial.  Hope to see you on May 31st. Please note the location.  \n\n\n\nHope all is well on this beautiful spring day.  With all of the changes that have transpired with the new ACP requirements\, we believe it is a crucial time to re-evaluate all the programs and services that we offer to the schools.  Many of the programs such as Career Expo have been running smoothly for over 15 years but may need changes to be relevant to the needs of students\, teachers and businesses as we try to  address the needs of our future workforce.  We would like to evaluate the timing of the event and the academic year the students participate\, in addition to where it falls in your ACP plans.  This is where we need your help!\n\n \n\nPlease mark your calendar for Thursday\, May 31st from 1:30pm-3:30pm.  We will plan on meeting at the MPSD district office 2902 Lindbergh Drive\, Manitowoc.  Please use back parking lot and entrance.  We need a representative from all schools who participate in any or all of the programs the Chamber.  We will also be extending an invitation to the Junior High School counselors and the superintendent from each district.  Lynn Kroll\, WPS has graciously offered to facilitate the meeting.\n\n \n\nYour attendance is imperative to the future success of all the programs the Chamber and it's member businesses are proud to offer.   Please RSVP your attendance for the meeting.    If you are unable to attend\, please let us know who will be attending the meeting in your absence.  I look forward to seeing you and bringing exciting changes to programs we offer.   Karen
