DESCRIPTION:Lia\, a sixth grader at Stangel Elementary and the founder of the Hopeful Hearts Club\, created "Hope House Backyard Makeover".  Lia's idea was chosen by Disney to receive a Disney Summer of Service Grant for $1\,000 last September.  Lia also reached out to Lowe's Home Improvement in Manitowoc who offered supplies and helped Lia complete the project.  Together a new play yard\, fence\, landscaping\, an outside library and reading area were completed.  \n\n \n\nTo celebrate their new backyard\, Hope House (along with Lia) will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Ice Cream social.
