DESCRIPTION:The Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday\, July 7th at 10:00AM to celebrate the completion of the third and final phase of their capital campaign expansion.\n\n\n\nThe $2.2 million expansion\, which broke ground in August of 2020\, involved a 6200 sq/ft addition which features a social pool\, splash pad with multiple spray features\, and a shelter\n\nwhich can be reserved for private events.\n\n\n\n"It is awesome to finally cut the ribbon for the $2.2 million project of phase 3 for the Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center\,?" explained Amy Fricke-Weigel\, President of the Friends of Manitowoc Aquatic Center Board. "We have a wonderful group of individuals and businesses in this community and even outside this community\, who have extended donations to make this a reality."  "This will be a fantastic asset for the community of Manitowoc."\n\n\n\n\n\nQuasius Construction of Sheboygan served as the general contractor for the construction of the new features and support buildings. The project was completed in collaboration with Neuman Pools of Beaver Dam.\n\n\n\n"It gives Quasius Construction great satisfaction to be a part the Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center expansion knowing the benefits go to the Manitowoc community to enjoy for years to come\, " said Quasius project engineer Alisha Daun. "The Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center Board staff and the team Neuman Pools are very knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with."
