SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting at The Light Teen Center's Finished Basketball Courts
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate our finished basketball court at The Salvation Army's\, The Light Teen Center.\n\n\n\nThe Light has been open\, to youth in 7th-12th grades\, since October of 2015. Through monetary donations from The Underwood Foundation and light fixture donations from Orion Energy Systems we have been able to create a full court basketball court in the area outside of The Light. Backus Electric helped with the installation.  The court is open daily to the public from 8 am - 10 pm. The court is limited to teens during The Light's open hours Friday to Sunday (4-10 pm\, 3-10 pm & 5-9 pm). We also have a youth development coordinator for The Light now. This has helped enhance our programing and offerings at the center.
