DESCRIPTION:AJ & Theresa Schroeder are the current fourth generation of general managers at Schroeder's Department Store in Two Rivers.  Schroeder's was started by two brothers in 1891.  In 1899 the current building was constructed.  Over time\, Schroeder's housed the Two Rivers Savings Bank\, grocery\, appliance and window fashions departments.  Even the Two Rivers Clinic called Schroeder's their home until the 1960's.  AJ & Theresa took the helm in 2008 and strive to offer quality clothing and footwear that fits great and offers a fashion element.\n\n	 \n\n	In 2012 AJ sat down with Pam & Keith Duveneck\, with The Read Apple.  They wanted to start a game day at Schroeder's.  AJ wanted a toy store in downtown Two Rivers.  So Pam and AJ decided to join forces.  AJ had space and Pam wanted to expand into Playmobile\, Bruder Trucks\, and Melissa and Doug.  The Read Apple now has a 2nd location at Schroeder's Department Store\, lower level.  This area provides the space for The Read Apple's Toy Store\, where learning is fun!\n\n	 \n\n	Also in 2012 AJ met with Lisa Heyroth of Lisa's Photo Quilting and Yarn Shop.  AJ and Theresa believed Two Rivers was missing something.  Two Rivers needed a fabric and yarn store. Lisa opened a 2nd location on Schroeder's 2nd Floor.  She offers a wide variety of yarns\, patterns\, notions and quilt kits. \n\n	 \n\n	AJ & Theresa are ready for 2013 and all the year will bring.  Schroeder's is located at 1623 Washington Street\, Two Rivers.
