DESCRIPTION:Safety Forums provide an excellent opportunity for safety minded individuals to meet in an informal session to share information and discuss concerns about safety and health programs. This forum will consist of a company tour followed by a discussion period.\n\n\n\n                                                                 \n\n       \n\nThe purpose of the Joint Dispatch Center is to provide countywide communications for the public to police\, fire\, and emergency medical services.\n\nOne of the services they provide to the residents of Manitowoc County is Enhanced 9-1-1\, which supplies dispatchers with the name\, address\, and emergency service provider(s) for each particular address\; thereby making the response to each incident quicker and more efficient.  They also have the capability for wireless 9-1-1\, which means a person calling with a cellular telephone and in line of sight of the satellites\, can be located on a map\, to identify their location if they are not sure where they are.
