SUMMARY:Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra (SSO) announces its 2024-25 season under the direction of Maestro Ernesto Estigarribia. The season's concerts will include a mix of classical works by renowned composers of the past and contemporary pieces by leading composers of today. "This season will celebrate our connection to nature\, our vibrant city\, and the rich tapestry of our community through the transformative power of music\," said Estigarribia. The first concert on October 12 features the world premiere of The Healing Machine\, inspired by treasured art installations at John Michael Kohler Arts Center and the Art Preserve. Illinois composer Jacob Bancks\, whose work has been featured on previous SSO programs\, wrote the piece earlier this year as a commissioned work for the SSO. Also on the October concert is Beethoven's Pastorale Symphony\, which evokes a joyful stroll through the countryside
