DESCRIPTION:Advocate Aurora will be joining the Chamber meeting for a time of discovery and learning around the critical role DEI plays in advancing our communities where we lead together. We will address our purpose and intentions in this space\, our approach to community connections and how those partnerships are leveraged to advance mutually beneficial goals for the areas where we serve.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker:\n\nErickajoy Daniels is a community resource\, with over two decades of development and consulting experience. She currently leads system-wide diversity\, equity and inclusion efforts at Advocate Aurora Health\, Wisconsin?s largest private employer and the 10th largest not-for-profit health system in the nation.\n\n \n\nPreviously\, Erickajoy was responsible for organizational development and global talent management at Brady Corporation in Milwaukee. She also held progressive employee development positions at the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Washington\, D.C.\n\n \n\nAs an active community leader\, Erickajoy enjoys serving as a trustee at Mount Mary University. Erickajoy also serves on several boards including TEMPO Milwaukee Professional Women's Network\, Penfield Children?s Center\, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee\, Center for Healthcare Innovation\, Raynor Memorial Library for Marquette University\, A.L.I.V.E Milwaukee\, Links Inc. of Milwaukee and is seated on the leadership team as chaplain for the Milwaukee chapter of Jack and Jill of America. \n\n \n\nRecently\, Erickajoy has enjoyed her involvement with the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda (BDHEA) by serving on the Best Practices and Innovation subcommittee and staffing the executive sponsor board. BDHEA is comprised of directors from organizations focused on eliminating health disparities within the Black community. She has also recently collaborated with the Health Management Academy (HMA) to build\, design\, and teach HMA?s first D&I in Healthcare course for the University of Providence.\n\n \n\nOver the years\, Erickajoy has earned several recognitions for her dedication to the community\, including a three-time recipient of the Milwaukee Black Excellence award\, the Milwaukee Business Journal?s 40 Under 40 award\, the Milwaukee Business Journal?s Women of Influence award\, and is a two-time recipient of the Milwaukee Power Brokers award. \n\n \n\nErickajoy has a bachelor? degree in psychology from the University of Maryland\, Baltimore County\, and earned her master? degree in management through Marian University.
