Schedule and Location:
Located at 1717 Duffek Dr. in Manitowoc, WI

  • 2nd shift openings Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm (8 hrs)
  • 3rd shift openings Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am (8 hrs)
  • Flexible overtime schedule when voluntary or required

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for material handling related to the job
  • Remove hose from storage reel, cut out any obvious defects, proof test as required, coil good hose on to packaging reel per spec. and stretch wrap finished reel
  • Accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continual basis in order to meet plant business objectives
  • Monitor cover and cure line while Extruder Technician is on break or fulfilling other duties
  • Share responsibility with the technician for quality and productivity of the cover and cure line
  • All irregularities will be reported to the Shift Supervisor or Leader
  • Participate in area and process team activities and projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Leader

Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent/GED
  • United States residency
  • Must be able to accurately and consistently record all measurements with tape measures, calipers and/or micrometers for quality audit documentation
  • Must be competent in basic math, possess analytical skills and have good verbal and written communication
