Description

Presenter Linda Johanek will be sharing tips and tools on ways to recognize and engage your employees, that are low or no cost!  Oftentimes we think of  employee recognition as a formal and costly endeavor - but it doesn't need to be!  Learn how to make recognition truly sincere and meaningful, as well as how to incorporate into your regular management style.  Learn what drives employee engagement, and how you can use this information to drive results in your organization.  In addition, we will talk about how to engage those difficult and stubborn employees who may be sapping all of your time and energy. 

We welcome you to join us in this interactive session and add a few more tools to your Leadership Toolbox!



Linda Johanek is a seasoned human resources professional, with over 15 years of experience including positions as Human Resources Director, Human Resources Manager, Contract Recruiter, Human Resources Generalist, Recruiter, Adjunct Faculty, Interim Executive Director, and Corporate Trainer.  Ms. Johanek has taught HR classes at the Undergraduate Level and will soon be teaching Graduate Level HR classes.    She earned her Master's Degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, and her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Major, from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater.  In addition, Linda has attained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation in 2002.  She is a National Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as well as Past President of the Green Bay Chapter SHRM.  On a personal note, Linda was born and raised in the Chicagoland area but moved to the Lakeshore area in 1998.  Linda's passion is leadership development and helping organizations identify and develop their most valuable asset; their employees.
