"Raffle Licenses and Gambling Laws: How they apply to your business or organization"
Presented by: Special Agent Helen Wasmer from the Department of Justice Gaming Department
Senior Special Agent Helen Wasmer has been an Agent with the Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation for 15 years, and has 18 years of total law enforcement experience. SA Wasmer has been assigned to investigate violations of the Wisconsin Gaming laws for the past 5 years, and also has experience investigating Internet Crimes Against Children, and Narcotics and Public Integrity violations.
Attendees can expect to receive an overview of Wisconsin Gambling laws as they apply to businesses (legal vs. illegal activities) and the Wisconsin Raffle laws- who is eligible to apply for a Raffle License and the restrictions/requirements attached to those licenses.
