Free Blood Pressure Screenings at Manitowoc Public Library

Time to keep a healthful post-Independence Day attitude moving in the right direction! The University of Wisconsin-Extension’s FoodWIse program is hosting a HeartCorps member— HeartCorps being the American Heart Association’s version of AmeriCorps—named Sue Koeppe. Sue is trained to take blood pressure and offer hands-on CPR classes. She will be stationed in the Library’s Inner Lobby providing FREE blood pressure screenings on Thursday, July 10, from Noon until 3 PM to all interested individuals. No registration is required for this event. Just walk up and get your blood pressure taken by Sue. We really can’t say it enough: Manitowoc Public Library—so much more than books!
