Description
Coaches and athletes are invited to attend a special program on Thursday, May 20th at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers that will focus on how knee injuries can be prevented. The program is free and open to all area coaches, physical education teachers, student athletes and parents.
Dr. Jon Henry, orthopedic surgeon at Aurora Medical Center, will discuss why certain knee injuries occur and offer tips on training regimens to help decrease the risk for injury, as well as identify the factors that put some athletes at greater risk for these types of injury. Attendees should wear comfortable attire that is suitable for participating in exercise demonstrations.
