The new Maritime Metro Transit Transfer Station building is 4000 square feet and will serve the public as transit transfer building. It provides a heated shelter for the 1000 people who use the system every day. The Transit Manager along with the Transit Clerk will be stationed there to provide assistance to our customers. The building also provides a lunch room for the 18 drivers and a conference room for the Transit Commission and other Transit entities to meet in. The building is completely ADA compliant and was built using common building materials, the only thing sensational about it is the design.
