Kiss a cat, Smooch a pooch

Do you love shelter pets as much as we do? Come and show them some love!!! From Jan. 27th - Feb. 14th the Lakeshore Humane Society will be holding a three week long event called Kiss a cat, Smooch a Pooch. Come down to the shelter and visit the front desk where you can purchase a kiss for your favorite cat or a smooch for your favorite pooch for $1.00. If your kiss is for a cat you can write the name of the cat on your kiss and shelter staff will affix it to the cat room window or kennel where your chosen cat is living. If your smooch is for a dog, the shelter staff will hang your smooch on the dog's kennel. On Valentine's Day, the cat and dog with the most kisses or smooches will be showcased during a Valentine's Day adoption spotlight at the shelter and featured on our Facebook page! Don't let our shelter pets have lonely hearts on Valentine's Day! Come help decorate their kennels with love!
