Managing through difficult times…have a familiar ring? Although we’ve all dealt with tough situations, and most of us have had a lot of experience to draw from in resolving them…try running a city the size of Manitowoc as the youngest Mayor ever elected. Mayor Justin Nickels will discuss just how he has handled the responsibilities of being elected at such a young age, and the difficulties of balancing a budget in a tough economy – all while involving employees, citizens, and council members.
