Join The Chamber's Safety, Health & Wellness Committee on Tuesday, February 24th from 7:30am - 9:00am for "OSHA Benefits & Preparing for an OSHA Audit" at Orion Energy Systems. During this conversation we will discuss Oshkosh Defense’s experiences with OSHA during compliance and VPP audits. This process is a journey and does not happen overnight or alone. I will share steps we have taken to ensure we are prepared when OSHA knocks on the door or we invite them in.

Speaker: Jacob Schueller - Director of Safety, SGE - Oshkosh Defense
Jacob Schueller is an accomplished safety and operational leader currently serving as Director of Safety at Oshkosh Defense, where he oversees health, safety, and training initiatives. In this role, Jacob drives strategic safety programs across multiple locations that protect employees and support organizational performance in complex industrial environments.
Known for his proactive leadership and commitment to employee well-being, Jacob has played an integral role in shaping the safety landscape at Oshkosh Defense and engaging with industry partners on strategic initiatives. This has resulted in Oshkosh Defense having 5 VPP Star Sites.
Prior to his current leadership position, he built expertise in occupational safety and cross-functional collaboration within manufacturing and defense operations, contributing to enhanced safety culture and risk management practices.
