Ribbon Cutting - Sundial on Mariners Trail

Two recent additions have been made to the Mariner’s Trail by the Manitowoc Garden Club. They are a Human Sun Dial and a Garden Kaleidoscope. Both are located northeast of the Manitowoc County Chamber of Commerce Building. They were installed by the members of the Manitowoc Garden Club, with help from many individuals, as well as businesses from the community. What started out as an educational project for an area  school, blossomed into a beautiful learning area on the Mariner’s Trail. It is the hope of the Manitowoc Garden Club that all who take the time will enjoy the spin of colors of the kaleidoscope and the calculating  of the time without using a watch! The Manitowoc Garden Club is very proud and thrilled to have enhanced the  Mariner’sTrail with these two additions.
