Safety Forums provide an excellent opportunity for safety-minded individuals to meet in an informal session to share information and discuss concerns about safety and health programs. This forum will consist of a tour of KI-Manitowoc and a discussion period.
Innovative product solutions and customization is the cornerstone of KI, continuing a tradition established at the company’s inception in 1941 as Krueger Metal Products, Inc., in Aurora, Illinois. The war effort made manufacturing resources scarce. Daily, founder Al Krueger would call on steel companies in Chicago to purchase materials to manufacture the company’s first folding chairs. The scrap materials available determined what he could produce, a novel and flexible way of manufacturing. Even today, our environmentally conscious company finds new ways to use resources wisely and innovatively.
Over the years, KI has developed into an industry-leading, award-winning furniture manufacturer with an international presence.
