Marilyn Marx, researcher at New England Aquarium in Boston shares the fascinating story of right whales. The right whale is one of the most endangered large whales. With a population of only 400, they struggle to survive in the industrialized coastal waters of the U.S. and Canada. Marilyn Marx, a Milwaukee native, has spent more than 20 years in the study of right whales and will share whaling history, research findings and the problems they face today in the urban ocean.
