Description
Your involvement with the Youth Job Fair will be an excellent opportunity for you to collect applications, interview, and even hire qualified youth to fill your part-time, weekend, and summer employment needs. Even if you are not currently hiring, your participation in the event will be great experience for students to learn about employability skills.
Many of the youth whom you will have the opportunity to meet and to screen for employment are involved in special education programs in the area. Through these programs, the students will gain valuable interviewing skills, preparing them for current and future potential employment.
The Job fair will run from 8:15-9:55a with set up time is 8:00a. A booth will be provided as well as a "generic" application will be available for use, however feel free to bring your own!
