Age requirements and costs vary by camp and advanced registration is required.
Spring Break Camp will be held on April 1. In honor of the 250th birthday of our country, come take a journey with us as we step into America’s past and look to its future. Explore life before this land became America and how westward expansion and industrialization changed our lives. Learn through crafts, games, and visits to some of our historic structures.
History Summer Camp will be held from July 6 through July 9. Discover what daily life was like for kids living at the turn of the 20th century! From household chores to school lessons and taking part in hands-on activities in historic trades – this summer camp is packed with old-fashioned fun!
Call of Duty 1862: Civil War Camp will be held on August 4 and August 5. Go beyond the pages of history books to bring local Civil War era stories to life during this 2 day camp. The camp will consist of activities that relate to the American Civil War, both in battle and on the home front.
A Summer Family Camp will be held on July 22. Spend the last days of summer with your family and a Museum Educator for a guided, behind-the-scenes adventure!

About the Manitowoc County Historical Society Museum and Pinecrest Village
Nestled in the scenic rolling Ice Age Kettle Moraine countryside of Eastern Wisconsin, the Manitowoc County Historical Society is a museum of living history. This 60-acre interpretive museum of local history features a Welcome Center with local history exhibits and research services and the outdoor Pinecrest Historical Village - a collection of over 25 historic buildings with period furnishings from Manitowoc County's early settlers.
Pinecrest Historical Village began in 1970 with a land donation from the Hugo and Eleanor Vetting family. The Village has grown to represent a reproduction of a small Wisconsin community during the early 1900s. The buildings form the commercial, social, and political core of a town and they represent several architectural styles of Wisconsin's history. The furnishings, items, and tools in the various buildings used by the Pinecrest Village interpreters are either original pieces or carefully researched reproductions.
