Speaker: Dan Allen - Environmental and Safety Manager - Lakeside Foods
Dan Allen is an accomplished safety professional who brings over eight years of experience in Human Resources and Occupational Safety. His career spans a range of leadership roles including Regional Safety Coordinator, Area Safety Coordinator, Gas OQ Training Coordinator, OQ Administrator, and HR Onboarding/Training Specialist. His career reflects a strong commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and employee development.
At Lakeside Foods, Dan is currently spearheading the initiative to achieve the OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star Certification, the agency’s highest level of recognition for outstanding safety and health management systems.

Speaker: Troy Munson - Director of Safety & Occupational Health - Mercury Marine
Troy Munson is a seasoned safety and occupational health leader with over two decades of experience driving environmental, health, and safety (EHS) excellence across manufacturing and defense industries. He currently serves as Director of Safety & Occupational Health at Mercury Marine, where he oversees strategic initiatives to foster a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Prior to joining Mercury Marine, Troy spent nearly a decade at Oshkosh Defense, where he held progressive leadership roles including Director of Health, Safety & Security. His tenure was marked by the implementation of robust safety programs and cross-functional risk mitigation strategies. He also held key safety management positions at Pierce Manufacturing and Joy Global, where he led regional EHS operations and specialized in hazardous materials compliance and industrial safety systems.
