Employer Perspective on Drugs in the Workplace

Substance use and abuse is a moving target for every employer to tackle. Whether it is filling an open position or retaining the current workforce, it is tough to know a best course of action for pre-employment testing, reasonable suspicion, safety, productivity, quality, and so much more.
This presentation is an opportunity to learn what private and public sector employers are doing about drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Learn why employers choose to drug test, what drugs are tested for, and why drug policies are critical to business success. Examples of employees who have tested positive for drugs and/or alcohol will be shared during the presentation.
