Federal Health Care Reform; What are Your Next Steps?
Be prepared for the things you need to know, to do and to plan for with the continuing implementation of Federal Health Care Reform, PPACA. This session will prepare you for many of the important strategic decisions that need to be made today to navigate through the many aspects of PPACA. The session will discuss; Strategies based on employer size, Play or Pay, Minimum Benefit levels, Maximum Employee Contributions to Premium cost, and the Cadillac Tax, Implications for employers offering coverage or not offering coverage, Employer Mandate, Individual Mandate and more. You will leave with access to Analytical Tools that will assist you in determining the financial implications of PPACA on your group, your employees and your health plan.
David Grunke has more than 34 years of health plan administration experience. David has held positions in claims, customer service and enrollment operations, provider contracting, marketing and sales in both direct and indirect sales environments. David gained his experience through employment at two major insurance companies, a Pharmacy Benefit Manager, and a large independent insurance agency. David’s undergraduate degree is in Accounting and Finance from Marquette University, he also holds a Certificate in Sales Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, is a graduate of the Certified Health Care Consultant (CHC) program at Purdue University and is a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) completing the course of study from the American University in Pennsylvania.
