Wetlands and the Effect on Home Building
Presented by: Russ Rasmussen, Deputy Water Division Administrator, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources
Updates from Government Officials to follow
This presentation will discuss:
- Shoreland Zoning – Proposed revisions to the 2010 rule and their status
- Wetlands Regulation – Statutory changes enacted in the past year and the progress the department has made in implementing them
- Brownfields – Basics about the brownfields program and the successes realized in the Manitowoc area
Russ Rasmussen has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He started his career in the private sector managing a business for sixteen years. Russ has served with the State of Wisconsin for the past twenty two years with the Departments of Administration and Transportation, and, since 1998, with the Department of Natural Resources. He currently serves as the Deputy Administrator of the Water Division.
