Cyber Risk & Insurance Protection
Presented by: Zach Kaiser, McClone Insurance
Many organizations assume insurance will automatically cover cyber incidents—only to find out too late that it doesn’t. This session will explore how cyber scams and data breaches impact coverage, what cyber insurance actually does (and doesn’t) protect against, and how internal policies play a critical role in risk mitigation and claims.
Participants will:
- Understand common cyber-related losses that affect insurance claims
- Learn what cyber liability insurance typically covers—and common exclusions
- Identify internal policies and procedures insurers expect organizations to have in place
- Recognize how employee behavior and training impact insurability and risk
- Gain guidance on questions to ask their insurance agent about cyber coverage
