BUILD YOUR BRAND: BRANDING---ITS NOT JUST LOGOS!

 
As part of its current assistance program to help farmers in the Manitowoc County region add value to their existing products, the Economic Development Corporation of Manitowoc County is sponsoring a free marketing seminar on Tuesday, May 22, 3PM – 8PM at the Development Corporation offices, 202 N. 8^th Street, downtown Manitowoc. All agricultural product producers who are in the business of creating and selling value-added products, or are thinking of starting such a business, are welcome to attend. There is no charge for this event.
 
The EDCMC is pleased to welcome Ms. Andrea Neu, owner of Image Maker Marketing to conduct the seminar. Ms. Neu has worked with Wisconsin cheesemakers, marketers, farmstead, and artisan dairy producers to assist with their brand development programs. She specializes in packaging, labeling, and marketing materials development.
 
Andrea’s expertise is working with small producers; helping them create their brand image and vision; and then executing it through their brand positioning, product labeling, and associated marketing materials. She has developed strong relationships with leading specialty retailers, distributors, and foodservice operators, and she uses these relationships to ensure that her clients’ brands resonate with buyers.
 
Andrea brings more than 36 years of experience in Integrated Marketing Communications, focusing her expertise within the food industry. She served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Vice President of Marketing Services for the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB). She has served on the International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association board, the WI 4-H Foundation board, as well as several other business boards.
 
Farmers, ranchers, and home gardeners who are producing value-added products, as well as others who want to grow or expand a new business in an agriculture related industry should take advantage of this seminar. It will help those already farming, ranching, growing, or producing agricultural products to better understand how they can ramp up their businesses to increase production and find new markets for their goods.
