Description

The City of Manitowoc’s Lincoln Park Zoo invites families to have a howling good time at its annual Halloween Zoo Boo event on Saturday, October 17th from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will feature fun activities for all ages, including a costume contest, games, animal enrichment demonstrations (so the animals can get in on the fun too), and a safe trick-or-treating experience throughout the main loop of the zoo courtesy of some local organizations. Concessions will be available for sale by HP Enterprises during the event. A $1 admission fee per person will be collected at the entrance to the zoo. Games will be located behind the Education Center, with tickets available for 50 cents each. Participants will be able to exchange tokens earned from the games for prizes. A costume contest will take place near the playground throughout the event. Zoo staff will photograph participants, and photos will be posted on the Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo’s Facebook page following the event. For a $2 entry fee, participants can compete for the grand prize, which will be awarded to the costume photo receiving the most likes and comments. Voting will remain open through November 1st.
