The Parade will begin at the corner of 12th and Washington Streets and conclude at the corner of 8th and Park Streets (by the Rahr-West Art Museum). This year's Honorary Parade Marshal is Michael Arendt, Emeritus Professor, at the University of Wisconsin ? Manitowoc. Professor Arendt is the Founder and former Conductor of the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc Lakeshore Wind Ensemble and Big Band, and a retired Professor of Music at the UW-Manitowoc. A reception with Santa Claus will be held from 4:30-6:00 p.m. and again after the parade until 8:30 p.m. at the Rahr-West Art Museum, 610 North 8th Street. During the parade, Santa will be the guest of honor of the Ant Hill Mob and Mrs. Claus will be the guest of honor of DJ?s Unlimited/Knox?s Silver Valley. Spectators can ride in comfort to and from the parade in free shuttles sponsored by Larry?s Distributing. The shuttles will depart from the Lighthouse Inn in Two Rivers at 5:20 p.m. continuing to Roncalli High School for pick up at 5:40 p.m., and the Manitowoc Senior Center at 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. All return shuttles will depart from downtown drop off points at 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The Parade will be televised live on Comcast Channel 20 hosted by Chris Kornely and Tom Tomaszewski. Comcast will rebroadcast the parade numerous times throughout the holiday season. The telecast is sponsored by River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center. The Parade will also be broadcast live on WOMT and hosted by Tim Strews. Handouts of candy only are allowed during the Parade.
