Laurel Grove Assisted Living, part of Shady Lane, Inc. Senior Living Services, will open a new residence building with a Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, May 2 at Noon. The new building adds 18 assisted living residences. In the fall they will add another 18 units of assisted living with secure memory care. Shady Lane, Inc. provides a continuum of care including Rehab at Shady Lane, Laurel Grove Assisted Living, and Shady Lane Skilled Nursing Services. In 1951, Shady Lane was founded by community leaders as a non-profit facility, locally led facility. As a non-profit, funds are returned to the facility to enhance quality while keeping rates affordable.
