"Integrated Emergency Response - What's Your Role?"
Gregg Kadow, Interim Fire Chief, City of Manitowoc
It is the vision of the Manitowoc Fire Department to provide friendly, compassionate, and quality service to the citizens and visitors of Manitowoc. And yet, “Many people are intimidated when we come to inspect and some see it as an intrusion. We inspect to make sure the employees, the customers and the building is safe from fire and safety hazards,” says Gregg Kadow.
This informational program will inform those in attendance what the fire department is looking for when they inspect, what will happen if they find something and what businesses can do to be in compliance with their inspection. In addition, Kadow will talk about what the fire department needs from a company when emergency personnel arrive on the scene, and the recommended preparations that need to happen prior to an emergency ever taking place.
