Lakeshore Weekend is an annual fundraising event where 100% of proceeds benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. The event features the renowned Dragon Boat races, live music, children's games, entertainment, and a silent auction. Children's Hospital continues to treat an increasing number of children each year. Many children from the Lakeshore area are referred to Children's Hospital. Last year over 1,900 visits were made to Children's Hospital by Manitowoc County families, and more than 4,400 by Sheboygan County families. Children's Hospital is a pediatric referral center for our local hospitals. Working in partnership with our local healthcare facilities and physicians they are able to treat injured and ill children-our own friends, relatives and neighbors.
