Description
A “Start Your Business Here Tour” is scheduled for Sunday, April 6, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. featuring a variety of properties available for sale and/or lease in the Manitowoc and Two Rivers area. The event is a collaboration between a group from The Chamber of Manitowoc County’s Leadership Manitowoc program, the Manitowoc County Board of Realtors, Mainly Manitowoc and the Two Rivers Main Street Program.
Entrepreneurs and potential small business owners are invited to tour properties that represent a variety of potential uses including retail, warehouse, office space, restaurant or other purposes. The properties currently included in the open house format tour are:

A resource fair will be held in conjunction with the tour in the Franklin Street Room at the Manitowoc Public Library at 707 Quay Street. The Manitowoc County Economic Development Corporation (EDC), the library and other organizations will have information available to assist those thinking about starting a business including: business counseling services, mentoring programs, how to write business plans, loan availability, and various support programs . There will also be a presentation about A to Z Databases and how that resource is useful for small businesses and local realtors will have information available about additional properties that are available similar to those on the tour.
