Housing Program Coordinator
The Housing Program Coordinator is a full-time position that assists in administering the Domestic Violence Rapid Rehousing (DV RRH) project at InCourage, including providing direct services to households experiencing homelessness and fleeing domestic abuse. Must be able to represent the mission, values, and philosophy of InCourage to clients, employees, and the general public. This position shares in the on-call rotation, responding to calls from other staff, law enforcement interviews, and forensic exams.

Starting salary: $48,000 annually, plus on-call stipend for each day being on-call.
This position might supervise the DV RRH Case Manager(s) and will schedule and mentor DV RRH staff, as well as assist Executive Director int he employment and termination process of staff.
Direct services include enrolling clients in the program, assist in finding housing, providing case management with clients while they are in the program (up to 24 months), work with landlords, represent the agency at housing-related meetings and manage relationships with other partners who serve individuals experiencing homelessness, participate in the semi-annual Point In Time count, participate in outreach events as needed, complete all necessary paperwork and forms in a timely manner, review client files on a regular basis to ensure all required HUD paperwork is in the appropriate file. Must work in a team approach to deliver programming.
Qualifications:
Two years’ experience working in supportive housing services
Experience working with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault desired.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and guide staff
Ability to help individuals explore options and strategies and problem solve their situations
Ability to work with persons from diverse backgrounds and multiple issues whose lives are affected by abuse
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as a team, set priorities, and be flexible
Ability to be supportive and non-judgmental
Ability to work well under stressful circumstances
Effective written and oral communication skills;
Computer skills required include basic knowledge of Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and Windows,
Must maintain a valid driver's license and insurance coverage for vehicle and have access to a vehicle
Must successfully undergo DHS caregiver and criminal background check
