Position Overview
As a Service Technician, you will install, support, and maintain packaging equipment both at our Two Rivers facility and at customer sites across the United States. You will serve as a key technical resource for customers while representing SP-Group’s commitment to quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and commission new equipment installations (at the Two Rivers facility and at customer sites, USA only)
  • Support and troubleshoot existing installations
  • Thoroughly document all aspects of each installation
  • Deliver on-site technical support and training
  • Provide remote (phone) technical support
  • Prepare clear, complete service reports
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in packaging equipment and processes
 
  • Consistently promote and uphold SP-Group’s core beliefs
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Excellent customer-service orientation
  • Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past two years
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Bonus: Experience troubleshooting PLC software
  • Bonus: TIG welding skills
  • Bonus: Multi-lingual
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Travel up to 50% of the time (USA only)
  • Requires fine finger dexterity and broad manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on an occasional basis
Schedule
  • Full-time, salaried position
  • Core hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday (some flexibility available)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $55,000 – $80,000 per year, based on experience
